Community Guidelines

We want Play Hosts, Players, and Play-4-Good Partners to have a playful, fun, and safe experience on Playfora. For that reason, we have set some guidelines in place so that everyone can enjoy buying and selling on the platform. 

Violations of these guidelines may result in corrective action including closing your account.

Play Hosts

Must

• be 18+ of age
• be based and ship from the United States
• ship within 2 business days of a Play closing
• be truthful about an item’s condition
• be truthful about the retail or market value of an item

Must not

• sell counterfeit or fake items
• sell items that violate IP rights
• accept or solicit payment outside of Playfora
• promote competitors or encourage the community to leave the platform
• contact Players that don’t follow or participate in your Plays to follow, purchase your items, or spam them.
• share personal information of Players with others
• use sensitive content in Play images or videos, including nudity
• use explicit language in Play Titles or descriptions
• violate our standards on other platforms outside of Playfora, such as

• selling fake items
• selling stolen items
• defrauding customers
• participating in a known hate group
• using hate speech
• threats of violence, harassment, or assault to others

Live Streams

Any actions that go against Playfora’s values or brand, or would be considered a poor reflection of your Play-4-Good Partner, are prohibited, including but not limited to:

• Anything illegal
• Drug use
• Nudity
• Sexually explicit content
• Direct competitor promotion

Smoking, drinking alcohol, or using explicit language or profanity is discouraged.

Play-4-Good Partners

Must

• follow all Play Host guidelines if running a Play

Must not

• fall into the category of a hate group, extremist, or anti-government  

Players

Must

• be 18+ of age
• be based and live in the United States

Must not

• submit fraudulent disputes about the condition of item received
• submit fraudulent claims about the item not being received

All

Must not

• harass the community, including unwanted contact, degrading comments, or sexual advances
• engage in hate speech defined as discrimination or denigration of individuals or groups based on the following protected characteristics: race, ethnicity, color, caste, national origin, immigration status, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, medical condition, or veteran status
• spam the community
• phish the community

Usernames

When choosing a username, adhere to the following:

• No explicit or offensive language
• No misleading or names that impersonate someone else, including using ‘‘Playfora” in your usernames or social media accounts
• If a username is not used for a long time, it may become available for others to claim.
• Character Limit: From 5-15 characters long, which includes letters, numbers, periods, and underscores.
• Special Characters: You cannot use special characters like !, @, #, $, %, etc., in your username. Only letters, numbers, periods, and underscores are allowed.
• No Spaces: Spaces are not allowed in usernames. If you want to separate words, you can use periods or underscores (e.g., my_username or my.username).
• Availability: Usernames must be unique. If the username you want is already taken, you'll need to choose a different one.
